Well, I finally started Mass Effect 2 and got about 3 hours in. Fun stuff so far.

Espgaluda 2 should be here for the 360 any day. I was expecting it today, but it's probably a good thing it didn't show or I probably wouldn't have started ME2.

I played a lot of Peacewalker yesterday. I'm nearing the end. At the same time, my psp handheld is also nearing the end. Sometimes my character starts moving upwards or to the right on his own. I ant to fix it, instead of buying a new one. (Since I don't know if a psp 4000 ill be released this year or not).

Haha, yeah...I know.

What system is that for?

I wish Tatsujin 2 (Truxton 2) were available either via legal emulation or a decent port. I still have the first Truxton for the Genesis.

-PC: AMD Quad Core A8-3800 Accelerated Processor, 16GB DDR3 Ram, Radeon HD45xx 1 GB video card, 1 TB hard drive, 500 GB hard drive, Supermulti DVD Burner, Wireless Lan 802.11 b/g/n, Beats audio Studio Quality sound, Win 7 Home Premium

-Dreams of getting a new Wii U in 201x.
-Current consoles:Wii, PS2, XBOX 360, also has DS/GBA, Vita 2xxx, and a PSP 3000

Yes, I like buying games cheap, don't like it? Deal with it!

Dragon Quest IX (DS) consumes all my gaming time. It is simply put the best DS game ever released. I am very happy I preordered 3 copies of the game.

Still just playing SSFIV and Mass Effect 2. I'm not real far into ME2, but I'm really enjoying it.

ME2 spoilers!

Wow nuts, 3 copies, why?  I have it too, but I have to play it in phases as the combat as with any DQ game gets to wearing you out a bit over time.  My party is a warrior, healer, magician, and a thief and it's working out pretty well so far.  I'm up to that port city where you got to head west via the back gate to this coast line with a lot of crabs and wyverns floating about.

SO yeah I'm playing DQ9, still randomly fire up Pokemon SoulSilver, and I got the UMD of Patapon2 that finally made it here so that's about it on total active.  But from my posts of the last few I did I'm still tinkering with those GBA and SNES games too.  Oh I also picked up my first 2 PSP 'Minis' with the Amiga/DOS classics of Pinball Fantasies and Dreams which are still excellent today to play.

3 copies =
1x for me
1x for my wife
1x for a friend of mine (I haven't had time to actually give her the game yet though)

My wife totally loves it too! She jumped of joy yesterday when she found the alchemy pot.

Man, I have a road trip coming up later this week and I'm severely tempted to pick up DQIX. Thing is, I haven't played through Bowser's Inside Story yet and I probably should.

I've heard of the alchemy pot finally in that port town.  I'm just so distracted and DQ games as much as I love them do tend to drag so I need to not be distracted or they get just picked away at slowly over time (like Pokemon) but it's quality stuff.  I guess the PSP could entirely be held to blame on this because of Patapon2, MGSPW, and Gran Turismo + those 2 pinball minis.  DS has nothing left at all coming all year worth a crap in the least bit outside of the to 'Kunio' games of which one is out already River City Soccer Hooligans, and then a Crash and the Boys Street Challenge is out this month or next remade too but I'm not sure I'll get either, probably download and see if I can get into them first before dropping $30 a pop on em if I bother at all.  PSP next month though has Ys and that awesome looking Ace Combat game but otherwise nothing until Amazon ships Metroid out and I see it early September.

Dragon Quest IX alone makes DS worthhile for this year, In fact, I haven't bought many DS games at all lately, but DQIX totally makes up for that.

I got Y's VII, Y's Oath in Felgana, The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky "1st Chapter", The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky "2nd Chapter" and The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky "3rd Chapter" all preordered for psp. Plus I am aaiting to see wether I should import Phantasy Star Portable / Valkyria Chronicles 2 or buy the euro versions.

So the PSP has a lot more great games on the horison, imo. But as I said, DQIX is so worth it. It's just so addictive. I'm approacing 25 hours playtime already.

You obviously got me beat on play time as I put it down to a year long craving to do Patapon 2 on UMD, and now I can.

Sort of replaying Dead Space (while reading the 'Martyr' book), Lionel Trains DS(it's Railroad Tycoon 1 repainted), and Dawn of Discovery DS(by recommendation of either tailzo or rensa forget who.)  And all that other bunk I listed before I'm still picking at here n' there, but I just don't take GB/C games all that seriously as I get them for random fun.

I finally got around to playing Spirit Tracks. I've been meaning to get to it, but reviews for Kombo and other releases have really kept me from it. So far, I really like it. I just finished the dungeon from the demo I played at E3.

I'm also still cruising through StarCraft 2. Aside from Spirit Tracks, everything else is on hold pending my completion of the SC2 single player campaign. I think I'm about 75% through it. After I finish up, I'll finish off Mass Effect 2 (on disc 2 now) and get back to regular Super Street Fighter IV sessions.

Just playing Dragon Age and SSFIV still. I'm really impressed with some of the Dragon Age mods. The Ser Gilmore mod is particularly impressive. Some intrepid modders took a minor character from the human noble origin and turned him into a full fledged and fully voiced companion character.

I can't remember if you are on my XBL friends list or not Jeff. We need to set up some SSFIV sessions. I've had some fun playing MonkeyLord recently, maybe the three of us and set up an Endless Battle session?

I got Shantae and Cannon Fodder for $5/pc and GT5 Prologue for $15 at the swap meet over the weekend, also nabbed a copy of Red Dead Redemption for $15 off on PS3 and Rolling Thunder NES for a couple bucks too in the last few days.  I got lots of fun play time stuff now.

I just found out via a tip off at the nintendolife boards that my Shantae copy (game only in great shape) is worth upwards of $150 on ebay.  The last copy sold with no pic from a dealer that gives no info at all for $158 at the end of July.  That's nuts for certain.  Depressing that I like it, I'd sell it. :D

I finally picked up Fallout 3 a couple of weeks ago (PS3 version) for $7 at Gamestop. All used games were 50% off and my cousin's Edge card shaved 10% more off of that, so it was basically an offer I couldn't refuse. I finally beat it last night (40hrs) and I have to say it's the first non-Bioware WRPG that I've been able to really get into. It had the typical flaws of the genre, a lack of big set pieces or consistent story structure, but the interesting quest objectives and genuine feeling of choice kept me interested in spite of that.

A few days ago I found another ridiculously cheap used game. Oni for PS2, only $3. I bought it mainly because I recalled a giant ad campaign around it back when I was a kid, and also for the novelty of playing a Bungie game on PS2. I'm about halfway through and I can say that it might be the worst game I've played in several years, but I'm going to soldier through it just for the sake of being able to say I have completed every game I have purchased in 2010.
